First off you need to have a Playstation Network account. This is relatively common sense so I won't go into any details here. After you have an account go ahead and sign in.
Now that you are logged in go to the Account Management page and click 'X'.
You will probably see a few selections like Account Information, Redeem Codes, Transaction Management, etc. Go ahead and choose the Redeem Codes option and push 'X'.
Here you will see three separate boxes where you will enter your code in. There is a twelve letter/number combination.
The code that you have will look something like this:
ABCD-1234-A1B2 (Not an actual Code)
Put each part of the code into the three boxes chronologically. Make sure you do not input the hyphens.
Note that the codes are Case Sensitive so be sure to enter them correctly, most often in CAPITAL LETTERS.
Now you have redeemed your code, so go have fun with whatever you aim to download!
